Style is on the Format menu. Style changes the style of the currently selected text to plain, bold, italics, underline, outline, or shadowed. You can make any combination of italics, outline, underline or shadowed styles. Fonts styles in one view are completely independent of font style in another view. For example, a headline can be in plain style while its corresponding chart title is in bold.
You can also choose font styles from the keyboard. Pressing the following key combinations turns on and off font styles at the insertion point, or on a highlighted text block:
• cmd-shift-B for bold
• cmd-shift-I for italic
• cmd-shift-U for underline
• cmd-shift-O for outline
• cmd-shift-S for shadow
You can also change font style through the Rules window. As with other format rules, you define the scope of the rule for a range of levels from the selected headline.
